Breaking down the barriers between you and your art, one bite-sized technology at a time.

Intro

The Center for the Advancement of Digital Art is a first of its kind organization targeted at making the digital art space more accessible for everyone. We build and launch bite-sized technologies to break down barriers without exploiting struggling artists.

Small, accessible tools built for everyone. Knick knacks. Toys. Joy. Nothing fancy.

CADA is not a platform

CADA is not a marketplace

CADA is not a membership

CADA is not “building something big”

Our Guiding Principles

  1. Simplicity first. No scope creep, no big products, no platforms. Bite sized tools and toys built by artists and for artists.

  2. Aggressive Dogfooding. CADA tools will be extensively tested and used by the people building them. We’re not going to release something we haven’t used ourselves.

  3. Feedback Focused. No tool should be iterated on unless it is being actively used by the community. Build for the people first.

  4. Unequivocally human. Everyone involved in CADA should be spending time and effort simply helping others. The organization is centered around humans, not computers or profits.

  5. No No Code. CADA is not a platform. It is not meant to build one thing that is universally used for everything. Our goal is building specific tools for specific groups to be used for specific purposes.
