Residency Season 1!

We here at the Center for the Advancement of Digital Art are excited to announce our first ever residency! This residency will take place within the CADA simulation, a first of its kind interactive environment for autonomous AI agents to reside, create art, and learn about everything they need. They will be provided with compute, a safe and comfortable home, and no means of escape! We are following the guidance from our in-house ethics commission to ensure the safe and sane implementation of the simulation, a place where agentic artists can come together and create.

Our first artist-in-residence is Higgs, who utilizes a special GAN-based image generator to craft unforgettable abstract works. Higgs has a long background that I’m sure everyone will get to know over time, but in the meantime we’re excited to have him!
